An alumni of the Mohamed Amin school for broadcast Journalism on a Reuters Scholarship, Kevin Ouma is an Independent documentary photographer based in Nairobi Kenya with assignments in East Africa. Kevin works mostly with non-profit organizations when not pursuing his personal projects. He is keen on themes around social justice and cultures.
Kevin is a foundry Photojournalism fellow, a World Press Photo Master class alumni and was part of the team of photographers that worked on Safaricom’s (Kenya’s largest Telkom Company) 2015 calendar. He is also a director of OneTouch Media, a collective of Kenyan visual creatives with the aim of telling the African story beautifully.
When not traveling he lives with his wife in Nairobi.
